This is a lightweight paperback featuring great explorers in history. While it does not dig deep in each, it does cover a wide variety, many of which are not well known. It is divided into 11 chapters. Nine of these detail various places on earch, one dedicatged to historical circumnavigators and the last one dedicated to exploring the deep of the oceans, the highest mountains, and lastly outer space.
