Greenlaws sleuth Jane Bunker is both an Asst Sheriffs Deputy and an insurance investigator. In this mystery she is told to set aside her war on drug dealers and is assigned to 2 missing persons cases. This soon expands to some murders of some lobstermen setting pots from their boats and a few others.
This is set during the summer in and around Bar Harbor, Maine during high tourist time. The story has plenty of twists and turns, but resolves in a satisfying creshendo at the end.
This is a true page turner, and although it goes into exreme detail on the life of Jane Bunker, it holds interest very well. I visited the area where this takes place and find the description of the area well done, as it should be as Greenlaw was born, raised and lived her life there.
A good fast read.
