Venturing Crew 583 disbanded and ceased to exist at the end of January 2012.
Most of the members moved away to college or became more interested in their local college life.

The Venture Crew used to meet on Sundays.

Venture Scouting is open to Scouts who are age 14 or over.
Membership is open to both young men and young women.
