Sheboygan, Wisconsin - older part of town

Some Canada Geese remain in Sheboygan for considerable time before the cold drives them further south.

Just down the hill from the Merget house in Random Lake.

The Merget house in Random Lake. It was built before the US Civil War - - - - - - - - - - - - Random Lake is west of US Hwy 57.


The Northwest part of the lake. Gerard did a lot of fishing for Bluegills on this lake in 1958.

Sheboygan County, west of Sheboygan Falls on County Road I north-east of where I intersects with Co Rd V (5 Corners)
It is Where many of Gerard Mittelstaedt's relatives on his mother's side ( Merget and Walter ) are buried.
The Walter family home was just west of here was where Gelane (Merget) Mittelstaedt was born.







Grand Army of the Republic - Northern Civil War Veterans have this medalion their graves.

St. Patricks Catholic Church, near Adelle, Wisconsin
Where Gerard Mittelstaedt was baptized.
It is East of the village of Adelle, Wisconsin in Sheboygan County
on the north side of County Road A
about 2500 feet east of US Highway 57.
It is in sight of the Frank Merget farm which was located about 2500 feet WNW of the cemetery behind the church.
