First Aid at Border Fest 2010 in Hidlago Texas
During Saturday afternoon, March 6, 2010, Crew 583 volunteered to assist the American Red Crosswith the roving first aid service at the Border Fest celebtation
which took place at the State Farm Arena (was Dodge Arena) grounds
in Hidalgo, Texas.
This year the theme country was Australia
First Aid kit and trained Ventures at the ready
a Gray Kangraro
Three pairs of the Crew patrolled during the 4 hour session.
A few bandaids were all that was needed during the 4 hour afternoon shift.
Of course those who actually got to use their talents were not around the camera, and are not pictured.
