Holy Spirit Parish
Troop 40, chartered through Holy Spirit Parish,
continued the tradition of making and tending the Easter Fire
for the Easter Eve ceremony Saturday evening before Easter Sunday.
Early arrivers at setup
Fire set and ready to light.
Fire lit and ready to transfer to Paschal Candle.
Scouts ready.
Msgr. L. Brum blesses the Paschal Candle before it is lit.
Msgr. L. Brum and Scoutmaster J. Sauceda light the Paschal Candle.
After this the Priest, Deacons and Altar Servers processed back into the Church.
There was some problem with the wind, but it was dealt with.
The Scouts took care of the remaining fire in front of the Church.
