lived in Nebraska. Hugo was a hunter he also raised dogs, especially Schafer hounds, what are now called German Shepards. He also imported 3 Russian Wolfhounds to hunt coyotes. This did not go well as the coyotes were smarter than the wolfdhounds and managed to lure the wolfhounds to their deaths. Family legend says Hugo was a bootlegger during prohibition.
